About
Anna Wieske was born in a small town in northern Russia. In her early twenties after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Anna moved to the West. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Anna studied Fine Art, and found photography the ideal way to express the evocative nature of reality around her. She uses the camera to capture fragments of time and space that come alive when she looks through the viewfinder. The camera replicates her mind, which draws intangible patterns of forms, textures and colors that collide in inexplicable ways.
